Diana Ortiz
I’m an experienced UX and Graphic Designer from Mexico City
I have 15 years of experience in the design field. Since college, In addition to my interest in digital and graphic design, I showed a keen interest in web design which led me to explore interactive animations, HTML, and CSS to develop my own websites, as well as use Content Management Systems.
In my early career, I began working as a graphic designer, web designer and illustrator. Later on, I had the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, where I focused on User Interface Design while applying Design Thinking principles. This evolution naturally led me into the field of UX, making it a necessary transition for organizations as well.
Despite UX design already existing since the 1990s, it was not as popular until now that companies have discovered the need to have a UX designer on their team., and according to Nielsen Norman Group (2019), it is estimated that UX as a discipline will experience exponential growth in the coming years.
A key strength of mine lies in bringing ideas to life and solving problems creatively with a combination of analytical and artistic skills. I strive to stay organized, making sure projects progress smoothly and reach successful outcomes. Drawing inspiration from my artistic interests, including illustration and photography, I approach design from various perspectives.
I highly value collaboration and believe in supporting others while sharing my knowledge. I constantly seek opportunities to expand my skills and learn new tools, as I consider myself a lifelong learner.
